Gloom Girl MFG is a post-punk, indie rock band from Nashville, TN.
With a garage rock vibe punched by slippery melodic licks and heavy grooves, Gloom Girl MFG draws frequent comparisons to Television, Hole, and The Pretenders with more than a slight grunge influence.
Gloom Girl MFG is best distinguished by the band's infectious live performance & chemistry, evocative lyricism, and soaring vocal delivery. The band uses every limb, every ounce of might and grit to execute, entertain and deliver an honest, exhilarating performance night in and night out - garnering newly-minted fans in their endearing, accelerating wake.
The band formed in January of 2022 around a guiding mission: to provide a post-pandemic generation with the most passionate performance, contemplative songwriting, and joy on the heels of global gloom.
Gloom Girl MFG is actively gigging around the southeast with their debut singles, "Boujie Girl" released September 2nd and "Part-Time Ghost" released October 28th. Debut EP release scheduled for April, 2023.
