The Elevations Hawai‘i: Vintage Soul Explosion
This dynamic ensemble channels the irresistible spirit of the 1960s and ’70s while bringing fresh island vibes to every stage they hit. With an electrifying and high-octane stage show, The Elevations Hawai‘i create a truly explosive live experience—one that lights up dance floors, lifts spirits, and keeps vintage soul and funk alive well into the 21st century! Honolulu’s "Dyn-o-mite" Vintage Soul Explosion is fronted by vocal powerhouses Kehaulani White, Cheyenne Takeuchi-Leong, and Aiddy Weisbecker. Together, they deliver an exciting blend of classic soul and funk infused with their signature island groove. Their horn section—Eric White (tenor sax), Rob Toyama (trumpet), and Arthur Davis (trombone)—brings tight riffs that soar over the band’s rhythm core: Gilbert Batangan on guitar, Tommy Mazzarella on drums, Rodney Drummer on bass, and Carlos Betancourt on percussion.

Jesse Wagner has toured the world dozens of times over as front man for The Aggrolites for the past 23 years. Their up-tempo early reggae flavored with vintage soul and funk flavors made them fans everywhere they went. After catching the attention of Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong, they signed to his Hellcat Records label and the Aggros never looked back. When not with The Aggrolites, Jesse has been known to sing and collaborate with some heavy hitters like Hepcat, The Slackers, Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra, The Expanders, The Lions, and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. If you haven’t seen Jesse Wagner live, you are truly in for one hell of a show!
