Boston based PØ formed in late 2010- Founding members Dave, Jeremy and Steve decided to start a new project with a new philosophy- unbridled and unparalleled aggression in live performances. The three immediately began searching for like-minded musicians and soon met up with Matt. Instantly feeling the chemistry, the four began looking for drums and bass- and as luck would have it they were able to find Weeble and Tim in the same day. Ultimately Tim was replaced by Mike on the drums to round out the current line-up. The group quickly went to work and wrote a CD’s worth of new material. Each member had very different tastes in the metal/rock genres and the new music that came from the group reflected this. They began to play as many shows as possible and bring an intense amount of energy to the stage- with the motto "make the other bands step up". They also began to record a 5 song EP entitled "We Don't Fuck Around" (currently in heavy rotation) and continue to professionally advance playing bigger and bigger shows- including Showcase Live at Gillette Stadium (MA), the Palladium (MA), The Radisson (NH), and many other high profile dates on the East Coast. 2013 is already looking strong and prosperous. PØ is currently tracking new material for an upcoming release that’s sure to further cement the band as a legit contender in today’s metal landscape.
