San Diego based guitarist Isaiah Mitchell is most known for his work in the psych rock trio Earthless. As a group, Earthless thrives on long and drawn out improvisational pieces of music which focus on music as a journey and painting sound in the air. As a solo artist, Isaiah brings the same approach to his music but instead of a loud rock power trio, he opts for more softer and ambient sounds and textures. Using loopers, synthesizers and drum machines gives Isaiah more opportunity for sonic explorations. His focus is to tap into the present moment as deeply as possible and to discover the peace, harmony and Oneness of all existence both experienced and inexperienced.
