The Warlochs,
Zan Fiskum
-
At the intersection of rock riffs and folk songwriting, you find The Takes, a new indie rock group hailing from Portland, Oregon. The band – composed of Sumner Rahr, Fritz Frerichs, Guido Rahr, and Phoebe Webb – weaves emotion and escapism through their songs, all while sticking to the roots of rock. On their 2024 EP ‘Lay Hold,’ the band pulls rhythm from legendary inspirations like Creedence Clearwater Revival and earnest songwriting from the likes of Noah Kahan. With over 1 million career streams and counting, The Takes are creating music for the moment and community wherever they happen to be.

The Warlochs are a 3-piece* indie rock meal from Seattle, WA. Topics covered include: the outer reaches of our solar system, the depths of the Pacific, love and loss, bugs, and everything in between. We rock, so you should roll.

Zan Fiskum is an americana singer-songwriter raised in the small town of Maple Valley, WA where she spent most of her time either running barefoot in the forest or volunteering with her family at a local dinner theater, both of which inspired her to make the music she is today. Her angelic voice soars over her soulful and ethereal storytelling. Reminiscent of artists Laura Marling and Brandi Carlile, she blends the lines between adult contemporary and americana/folk as she writes about the intricacies of family dynamics, connection to the natural world, and love. She made her national debut on season 18 of NBC’s The Voice finishing as a top 9 finalist which spearheaded her two self-released records with over 3 million digital streams. Zan has gone on to tour nationally and open for The Avett Brothers and share the stage with John Legend and Dave Mathew’s.
