In the spirit of West African high-life music, the all-night Go-Go clubs of DC, Prince at the 1st Avenue, and Fela at his shrine, Chief Ahamefule J. Oluo presents a monthly dance night rooted in Black and African musics. To be able to convene is a sacred thing--we know that now. The Shrine is a new music experience, an artistic experience, a body experience, and a devotional experience, featuring the best musicians this city has ever seen, felt, or heard.
