THE SAM CHASE & THE UNTRADITIONAL
The Sam Chase & The Untraditional hails from San Francisco, California. This juggernaut of a band blends rock n roll with folk music while maintaining the sensibilities and attitudes that come from growing up on a healthy diet of punk rock.

The leader of the band is The Sam Chase himself, a natural storyteller with a voice that sounds as if it has weathered many an epic tale.  With boot stomping orchestration and lyrics that have been immortalized on the tattooed skin of their fans, The Sam Chase & The Untraditional doesn’t mess around.

… These are the warriors we need in these troubled times.

JIMBO SCOTT & YESTERDAY'S BISCUITS
A favorite of the Bay Area’s folk and Americana scene, Jimbo Scott has been entertaining audiences far and wide for more than a decade, including 2 years as a member of the famed NorCal Jamgrass band, Poor Man’s Whiskey. His solo work evokes traditions of Tennessee country and bluegrass, Oakland soul in sepia toned California landscapes and life-scapes.

At the end of 2022, Jimbo teamed up with an all-star lineup of musicians to form Jimbo Scott and Yesterday’s Biscuits.  Featuring Kiel Williams (the Risky Biscuits) on Guitar and Pedal Steel, Andy Merrill (The Risky Biscuits) on bass and Rob Hooper (Carolyn Wonderland, Jimmy Dale Gilmore, Patrice Pike) on drums, Jimbo Scott and Yesterday’s Biscuits are a rising force in the NorCal Americana Scene, not to be missed and best to be consumed with reckless abandon.

    Americana

The Sam Chase has a voice like a Nun on the lam with a mouthful of cigarettes and curse words in a lonely bar, drunkenly dancing next to a broken jukebox. His songs are scribbled, not written, on lipstick and sweat stained motel bed sheets because he likes the way the ink bleeds. His guitar runs on diesel and leaks like the morning after too much Whiskey. This is a show you’ll probably want to tattoo on your body so everyone will know that you knew him before he was cool.

Hailing from the hills of San Francisco, California, Sam and his band whom he lovingly refers to as The Untraditional, take to stages all over the country with a virulent and frenetic passion which many history buffs might liken to the Norse warriors known as The Berserkers, who were known to have fought their battles with an uncontrollable, trance-like fury. Norse literature notes that they would work themselves into a rage before battle, consuming drugged foods, and dressed in nothing but their enemies blood. The Sam Chase and The Untraditional do maintain that spirit, but leave the drugged foods and enemies blood up to the discretion of the crowd.

    Americana

Have you ever been walking down the street, and suddenly heard a voice that made you walk into a venue to see whose it was? That is Jimbo Scott’s voice – a bell, magnetic and the definition of a powerhouse.

Described by Tahoe Weekly as “Honest Honey-Eyed Americana”, Jimbo’s music casts reflections around the room, flashing from honest self-deprecation to cinematic retrospectives on our part in shaping our communities and accounting the consequences of our actions and inactions.  His signature baritone voice has moved many an audience including The Kate Wolf Music Festival, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Salmonfest and the Fillmore
