THE Q-TIP BANDITS
(Boston, MA) - Radiating positivity, the five piece funk-rock outfit has emerged to the forefront of Boston's indie scene. The success of their debut single "Willow" prompted them to record their debut EP, Ain’t It Great, which was called "a must add to your summer playlist" by The Courier. After a summer of outdoor touring in 2021 — Willow broke 1 million streams, the band was nominated for “Best New Artist” by the Boston Music Awards, and they returned to the studio to record their first LP Melancholy Flowers. The band set off on a 7 week long cross-country tour to support the record in 2022.
Seeing Double, a New York based rock band, is electrifying the music scene with their high-energy shows. The band sees playing live as an opportunity to make a connection with the audience through their eccentric stage presence and upbeat original music. Combining their signature twin harmonies, feel-good grooves, and punchy instrumentals, "The Doub" creates a unique sound reminiscent of 70’s pop-rock and modern indie rock with their growing catalogue of songs. After meeting in spring of 2021, their freshman year of college at SUNY Oneonta in upstate NY, the group was supposed to play just one show to pass the time during the COVID compromises of their school. But after playing together at the Oneonta Armory, they decided they would continue shows from then on. The band’s first singles "Leah" and "Don't Wait" took the rock scene by storm as they gained over a million streams on the project in just two months, as well as garnered global press and radio airplay. Further success continues as they look forward to several upcoming shows in 2022, including a sold-out performance at the historic Bitter End in New York City
