Comedy
Papp Johnson
Papp Johnson
Comedy
Apr. 15th, 2010 Papp Johnson touched the stage for the first time and changed comedy forever by winning Sony’s Death at a funeral stand up competition while sitting down. Instead he stood on his incredible storytelliing ability and punchlines that would later carry him onward to Los Angeles, CA. where his legend grew even bigger with several festival appearances (SF Sketchfest, Treefort Comedy Festival, 1865 festival) And if you think he looks fimilar it might be from one of his many commercials with Dunkin Donuts, Samsung, Fox sports or one of his appearances on “That Damn Michael Che” or “Wu-Tang: An American Saga”. No matter what or where you’ve seen him there is no denying that Papp Johnson’s art is timeless.

Stand-up
Courtney Davis
Courtney Davis
Stand-up
Courtney Davis II is proof that you can be clean, sober, and still the most interesting person in the green room. An opener for Greg Fitzsimmons and a regular at The Hollywood Comedy, Courtney’s comedy is fueled by his Las Vegas roots and the daily humbling of being a girl dad to a teenager. When he’s not closing deals as an account executive, he’s closing sets across LA and drinking a gallon of water for mental toughness exercise '75 Hard.' He’s currently building a one-hour special that’s 24-karat gold.

Stand-up
Paul Blomeyer
Paul Blomeyer
Stand-up
Paul Blomeyer is a former professor and ESL instructor in Afghanistan. Inspired by memories of Dana Carvey's "Headwound Harry" character on SNL, Blomeyer's foray into standup began later in life and has been taking him around the country with his budding career. Known for his intelligence and dark point-of-view, younger audiences appreciate Blomeyer's anti-professor persona, while older audiences connect to him because, like them, he’s irritated by the optimism of the young.
The festival circuit has been welcoming and rewarding, including the Lookout Comedy Festival, the Asheville Comedy Festival, and Magner’s International Comedy Festival held in Bangkok, Thailand. Blomeyer's placing as a finalist in Minnesota's Loons on the Lake Festival, Hollywood’s Funniest and the Los Angeles Comedy Contest is a testament to his growth and upward trajectory.
When not performing comedy or watching “Law and Order” reruns, he reads a lot, travels, and listens to music. He really likes sushi!
