Doah’s Daydream is a powerhouse female-fronted band based in San Diego, fusing gritty emotion with island soul. Their signature sound, “island grunge,” is a bold and refreshing blend of reggae fusion, pop, soul and rock—layered with electrifying guitar solos, punchy horn sections, and high-octane performances that leave crowds breathless. 

At the heart of the band is Doah, a rising 1.5-generation Korean American artist whose life journey is as compelling as her music. Born in South Korea and raised in Oahu, Hawaii from the age of 9, Doah now calls San Diego her home. Also, Her identity—rooted in culture, transition, and resilience—echoes in every song she writes and sings. Her sound defies easy categorization, flowing seamlessly between reggae, rock-pop, ballads, retro pop, and beyond. As she puts it, “Expect the unexpected.” 

Notable accomplishments are their song “Ready to Love” won 2025 Best Soul funk song category at San Diego music award. They won the “Caliroots” wildcard contest so they were invited to play at one of the biggest reggae festivals in California in May 2025.
