The Movement
The Movement

The Movement has been winning the hearts and minds of alt-reggae fans since their inception in 2003. Drawing inspiration from Sublime, 311, Slightly Stoopid, and John Brown's Body, they’ve made a name for themselves as reggae shapeshifters with a foundation of insightful lyrics and heavy drum and bass.
Today the band consists of founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Joshua Swain, bassist Jason Schmidt, drummer Gary Jackson, keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Matt Goodwin, and saxophonist/percussionist Kyle Jerome.
Their seventh studio album, Ways Of The World (2019), debuted at #1 in the Billboard Reggae Chart and remained in the Top 10 for more than 40 consecutive weeks.
The band’s ninth studio album VISIONS — out July 18, 2025 on the band’s R4RE Records imprint — features collaborations with Stick Figure, The Elovaters, 311, Tribal Seeds, and The Green. With VISIONS, Swain charts a celestial and cerebral path through the cosmos and straight into the consciousness, leaving a renewed sense of wonder and purpose.
As always for The Movement, the only path is forward; pushing the boundaries and the future of alternative reggae.

Rock Steady
“Kona Dub-Rock.” That’s how Pepper describes their blend of reggae, alternative rock, dub, island rhythms, and punk rock energy. It’s a sound that’s taken the trio from the Big Island of Hawaii—where vocalist/guitarist Kaleo Wassman, vocalist/bassist Bret Bollinger, and drummer Yesod Williams held their first band practice as teenagers in the late 1990s—to the upper reaches of Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart, where Local Motion (2019) peaked at No. 1.
Nearly 25 years into their career, Pepper’s members are more than just artists—they’re ambassadors for a thriving reggae-rock scene. As co-founders of LAW Records, they’ve helped enrich the global reggae community by reissuing albums by Steel Pulse and Jimmy Cliff, while releasing music from more than 20 other artists. On the road, they’ve toured across North America with acts like The Wailers, 311, Pennywise, and Snoop Dogg—building a diverse community of collaborators and fans while blurring genre boundaries.
Each new Pepper release is an opportunity not only to celebrate their reggae-rock roots but also to expand the circle of connection, camaraderie, and collaboration that surrounds the band.

Kash'd Out
Kash'd Out
Rock Steady
Florida-based reggae/rock band Kash’d Out has been hustling hard since day one. Formed when Greg Shields (lead vocals) and Jackson Hauserman (guitar) first met during a studio session, the band quickly found its sound. With the addition of Joey Brohawn on bass, Marshall Hearne on drums, and most recently A-Mac on keys, Kash’d Out's clever lyrics, tasteful guitar riffs, and infectious grooves came to life.
Their breakout caught the attention of Hawaiian legends Pepper, who signed them to LAW Records and released their debut full-length album, The Hookup. Before the album even dropped, the band hit the road with Pepper and Less Than Jake, launching them onto the Billboard Reggae Charts and into households across the country.
Since then, Kash’d Out has become a relentless touring force, supporting genre staples like Collie Buddz, The Expendables, and Iration, while also headlining multiple national tours. Their most recent album, Butter (released on LAW Records), showcased the band’s musical growth and experimentation, further solidifying their reputation for crafting songs that blend catchy melodies with honest, introspective lyrics.
Now signed to Ineffable Records, the band continues to evolve. Their latest single, “Mushroom Tea” featuring Little Stranger, dives into a playful, psychedelic groove—bringing together bounce, wit, and a touch of nostalgic stoner charm. It marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as they gear up for their next full-length album, due out in 2026.
With a packed touring schedule and a high-energy live show, Kash’d Out continues to bring their music to fans across the country—spreading good vibes and authentic connection at every stop.
