The Monsters are a kickass live band who will burn every stage down. Over the years The Monsters recorded 7 albums, several singles and ep’s and apeared on countless compilations. The record „Youth Against Nature“ was recored in the now famous Toe Rag Studios (London) by Liam Watson and Robert Butler (Miracle Workers). „I See Dead People“ came with a 1000-piece puzzle, booklet, sticker and button and was allready sold out during the tour. There`s also a limited edition of the 2011 record „…pop up yours“, the Box is made of solid wood with the Monsters integrated as a wildly popular sliding puzzle.
The Monsters appear on Voodoorhythm Records, Switzerland. The label is famous for it’s taste and style, as it is for the beautiful artwork. Voodoorhytm is run by Beat-Man, who (by accident…) is also the singer and guitar player of The Monsters. Beat-Man played – and still plays – in other projects called Lightning Beat-Man, Reverend Beat-Man, Die Zorros and some more. As a one-man-band he toured all of europe, played venues such as Jazz Festival Montreux, Frat Shack, Dour Festival, Eurocene and Las Vegas Grind (USA) on the same bill with acts like Dick Dale, Public Enemy, Ramones, Prince, Rammstein, Bob Log III and more….

No gimmicks. Real monsters. 100 years ago Dracula brutally murdered Dr. Frankenstein with a siq decapitation and took his castle. He then ordered his newly acquired Igor to: build him the best drummer to ever exist, Franky, find a young, hunky guitarist and infect him with the werewolf virus, Wolfë, and last, but not least wrap up a dank Mummy and strap a bass to him (easier said than done, mummies are a very powerful breed). Anyways the idiot Igor fuckin' did it, so here we are. Been on the road since. Suck it.

Get ready to move with this guy behind your turntables, or behind his own portable turntables (or under them! They've been seen hanging upside-down -- even from high up in a tree!) Deejaying parties is his break from his worldwide search for the planet's best bands for his record label, Slovenly Recordings. He spins the best punk, soul, garage, rhythm & blues movers he's found on vinyl from the past five-odd decades. DISCO SUCKED, TECHNO BLOWS! Pete cites inspiration from the epic Disco Demolition Night, Chicago, 1979, and is convinced that techno is not music. Techno is a beat that is easy for modern humans to dance to in clubs, and in so doing, they're unknowingly reducing themselves to a lower form of life as the the mindless, robotic thump and computerized beat sucks what little soul they might have remaining from within. The masses believe they're having fun, while the truth they don't care to admit to is that they don't like the song they're dancing to (because it's not a song) and that they only pretend to like it because everyone else around them seems to. DJ PETE SLOVENLY is happy to provide an alternative, providing primitive beats by living, breathing, fucking, intelligent souls! Groups of humans playing instruments with strings and skins! Recordings played from vinyl, like the original DJs (that stands for Disc Jockeys, kids) did on the radio...
