The Crocodile Presents:
The Little Lies,
Madman Across The Water
-
A group of musicians sometimes coalesce out of necessity, as if called to the stand by a power greater than the sum of the individual performers. In this case, that higher power is Fleetwood Mac.
The Little Lies, a Tribute to Fleetwood Mac, is comprised of Miranda Zickler (Kuinka), Andrew Vait (SISTERS), Linzy Collins (Dream Patrol), Harry Wirth (Molasses), and Cyra Wirth (Beautiful Freaks). They play renditions of the cannon one would expect to hear at a Fleetwood Mac concert, inspired by the band’s distinct artistic finesse and on-stage flair and style. This dynamic supergroup of accomplished Seattle-area musicians is an act you don’t want to miss. -
"Madman Across The Water - The Music of Elton John" is a new project from Seattle-based artist Andrew Vait (SISTERS, The Little Lies).
The project will build on the energy and momentum of Vait's Fleetwood Mac tribute, The Little Lies, and, faithful to the mythos of Elton John, the show promises to be bigger and better in virtually every way.
Vait carefully chose the words to describe the project, emphasizing that the focus will be on interpreting and upholding the unrivaled craftsmanship in songwriting and stage performance that threads through Elton John’s legacy.
“Madman Across The Water” will honor the music of Elton John and is dedicated to the memory of Vait’s mother, who died in September of 2022 after a battle with cancer. Vait recalls listening to Elton John with his mom: “We would listen together and she would sing along while I learned the words.” The music instilled in Vait a deep sense of empathy and softness that has profoundly influenced his career as a performer and recording artist.
