A highly theatrical memory play about the real-life Leyendecker siblings, Mary, Joe, and Frank, whose artistic ambitions helped shape American illustration in the early 1900s. As Joe’s fame rises with the iconic Arrow Collar Man, Frank struggles with addiction, identity, and the shadow of his brother’s success.

Blending imagination, history, and family tension, The Lesser Leyendecker explores art, ambition, and the fragile bonds that hold a family together.

The Coconut Grove Theatre Festival returns with a weekend of new play readings by South Florida creatives. Join us April 16-19, 2026, at the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove for the return of world-class theatre to Coconut Grove!

Must present ID proving age eligibility in order to pick up tickets/be granted admission. Each teen/young adult MUST be present and have an ID ready to show before tickets will be issued.
