The Juneteenth Experience is a groundbreaking annual celebration of our country's national holiday, Juneteenth. This immersive event captivates audiences with concert theater that weaves together soulful melodies, gospel rhythms, and classical arrangements with spoken word and dance, honoring the spirit of liberation and freedom.
Led by Hued Songs' Executive Artistic Director Kunya Rowley, the production features an exceptional ensemble of local and national talent. The performance showcases vocalists and a band under Musical Director King Friday, choreography by Zest Collective's Gentry George, original poetry by creative producers Arsimmer McCoy and Miriam King, and digital projections by Bajan artist Russell Watson.
