The Josh Kaye Trio Presents: A Tribute to Stevie Wonder Pianist Josh Kaye returns to Blue Note Hawaii with a special concert tribute to Stevie Wonder. Stevie Wonder is one of the most creative musical figures of the late 20th century. Wonder signed with Motown's Tamla label at the age of 11, and has continued performing and recording for the last 56 years. As one of the most-awarded male solo artists, Wonder has sold over 100 million records worldwide. He is also noted for his work as an activist for political causes, including his 1980 campaign to make Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday a holiday in the United States. In 2009, Stevie Wonder was named a United Nations Messenger of Peace. Josh Kaye moved to Hawaii in 2008 after being part of the San Francisco jazz scene for twelve years.  His 2004 debut recording entitled “The Joshua Kaye Quartet - Live!” included sidemen from the Cal Tjader band and was described as “kinetic Latin swing.” Since moving to Hawaii, he has been recording and performing locally with his trio as well as his R&B/jazz group Adagio.
