Nick Govrik aka “Nicky G”, the time immemorial Nashville musician, is best known as the primary songwriter, bassist and vocalist for the country soul, rock ’n roll outfit, Trigger Hippy. He has played alongside many notable musician and has been a fixture on the Nashville music scene since his days in the good time boogie boogie band Highwater, which had a local cult-like following in the 90s. After decades of writing songs for the bands he was a member of, Govrik is releasing his debut solo effort titled “One More Time For The Man”, a mix of barn burners and compelling tear jerkers produced by mythical guitar phenom Tom Bukovac.    Nicky g brings his signature brand of showmanship, together with comrades in arms Tom Bukovac, Guthrie Trapp, Jedd Hughes, Jordan Perlson, Tim Marks and Jimmy Wallace, a collective of top notch musicians referred  to as “The Guitar Party”  which has been slaying audiences at recent shows in Nashville, New York and Chicago. The Guitar Party will hit 3rd & Lindsley June 27th at 8pm to celebrate Nick Govrik’s record release.
