The Fly Honeys are a femme-powered, queer as f+ck, body-loving smoke show of a performance project where pleasure is king, but the queens have the power. What started as an illegal underground party is now a full-scale, heart-thumping, ass-shaking rallying cry for the revolution.

After 15 years of sticky, glitter-laced summers, Chicago’s iconic, high-kicking, heart-pumping cabaret spectacle, The Fly Honey Show, is bringing the house down one last time, celebrating a long legacy of boundary breaking, femme-powered, queer-celebratory, all-body-loving performance. Each night brings high-energy choreography and grand spectacle with a massive ensemble of multi-talented performers and a rotating lineup of nationally lauded performance artists, all backed by a 9-piece live band.

Campy. Sticky. Glittering. “Naked in every sense” (Newcity). Hyped as a “Chicago Institution”, The Fly Honey Show immerses you in “self-love in a punk-styled, socially progressive variety show” (Chicago Reader). 

The Fly Honey’s final flight leaves it all on the dance floor – proving that the Glitter never really washes off.
