The Eras Experience: Cami’s Version

  • Cami Clune

    Cami Clune

    Pop

Cami Clune first captured national attention as a Finalist on Season 19 of NBC's The Voice. In her blind audition, she received a 4-chair turn with a block, the only contestant her season with those combined accolades. She chose John Legend as her coach, but ultimately landed a spot on Kelly Clarkson’s team, as she used her only steal for Cami in the knockout round. In the live portion of the show, Kelly used her only artist save to advance Cami to the next round.

Although she can perform various different genres, her original music primarily incorporates elements of pop, rock, and country. Drawing inspiration from a diverse

palette of musical influences, including Alanis Morissette, Dolly Parton, and Stevie Nicks, she creates a sound that feels both nostalgic and contemporary, appealing to fans spanning across all different age groups. Cami began her musical journey with musical theatre, and her roots in Broadway continue to inspire her journey today. Her ability to infuse storytelling into each song she sings, whether it be a cover or original, resonates with listeners and creates a meaningful connection with her audience.

Cami has performed as a featured vocalist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and has brought her talent to crafting memorable jingles. She has also sung the national anthem for prominent organizations, including the NFL and NHL. She is honored to be the primary anthem singer for the Buffalo Sabres for their 2024-2025 season.

Cami faces the challenges of living with a chronic illness known as "Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome," a connective tissue disorder that most prominently impacts her joints and digestive system. Despite these obstacles, she actively raises awareness and supports ongoing research into the condition. Cami's dedication to making a positive impact extends to her involvement in various charity projects, including Variety Club, Make a Wish, O’Shei Children’s Hospital, and the SPCA.

In 2023, Cami embarked on a new chapter, forming Cami and The Fringe—a 4-piece (sometimes 5-piece) band that brings her artistic vision to life. Performing with talented live musicians adds a fun and exciting dynamic to her shows.
