Devon Allman has been immersed in the world of blues and rock his entire life. As the son of the legendary Gregg Allman, Devon grew up surrounded by the rich musical legacy of the Allman Brothers Band, a group that played a pivotal role in shaping the Southern rock and blues sound. 

Devon Allman Blues Summit is a powerhouse gathering of blues legends that promises to electrify the stage.  Devon Allman at the helm, this summit brings together an all-star lineup that includes the legendary Jimmy Hall, the soulful voice behind the iconic Southern rock band Wet Willie. Jimmy has left an indelible mark on the world of music with his distinctive blend of blues, rock, and R&B. Born in Mobile, Alabama, Hall’s passion for music was evident from a young age, leading him to form Wet Willie in the late 1960s. The band quickly gained popularity for their vibrant live performances and chart-topping hits like “Keep on Smilin’.”

Known for his fiery harmonica playing and powerful, emotive vocals, Hall’s contributions to music extend beyond his work with Wet Willie. His collaborations with legendary artists like Jeff Beck further showcase his versatility and profound impact on the blues and rock genres.

Adding to the line ups historical legacy is Larry McCray. McCray is a legendary blues guitarist and singer renowned for his soulful sound and emotive guitar work. Born in Magnolia, Arkansas, and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, McCray has carved out a prominent place in the blues music scene with his powerful voice and deft guitar playing. Emerging onto the scene in the late 1980s, he quickly gained attention for his blend of contemporary blues, rock, and soul influences.

Rounding out the Devon Allman Blues Summit is the powerhouse vocalist from New Orleans Sierra Green of Sierra Green and The Giants. , Sierra is known for her dynamic range and commanding stage presence, Green has made a name for herself as a versatile and passionate performer. Born and raised in New Orleans, Sierra Green draws inspiration from the rich musical heritage of her hometown, infusing her performances with a modern twist on traditional soul sounds. Her voice echoes the spirit of greats like Aretha Franklin and Etta James, yet she seamlessly incorporates her own unique flair, creating a fresh and exhilarating musical experience.

As the next generation of Allman music, Devon continues to innovate and captivate audiences with his skillful guitar playing and compelling songwriting. His artistic contributions are proof of his impact on the blues-rock as both a deeply personal and universally resonant genre.     Jimmy Hall was born in Birmingham, Alabama and raised in Mobile by a musical family steeped in gospel tradition.

     

    Jimmy Hall first gained notoriety as the lead vocalist, saxophonist, and harmonica player for the band Wet Willie, which emerged from Mobile, Alabama in 1970. His unique brand of R&B-infused rock and roll swagger propelled the group’s “Keep On Smilin’” to the Top 10 on the Billboard singles chart in 1974. After five albums with Capricorn Records, Wet Willie moved to the Epic label in 1977, carrying the singles “Street Corner Serenade” and “Weekend” to the Top 40. As a solo artist, Jimmy appeared in the Top 40 yet again with “I’m Happy That Love Has Found You” in 1980. His songs have been recorded by Gregg Allman, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Amazing Rhythm Aces, Blackberry Smoke, Johnny Russell, and others. Additionally, Jimmy has been a vocalist and bandleader for Hank Williams, Jr. since the 1980s. Jimmy is an inductee of both the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. A 2017 Alabama Media Group article dubbed Jimmy “Alabama’s greatest Southern rocker." Additionally, Jimmy Hall, has toured as a vocalist with Jeff Beck's US Tour over the years. According to Jeff Beck's Website, Hall is referred to as “A Southern Boy with Lots of Soul.”

There is a Two Drink Minimum per person unless you have made a Dinner Reservation through the Box Office.

Dinner reservations get you reserved priority seating for the entire evening that is in front of general admission seating and closer to the stage. There is no additional cost to make a dinner reservation but you are required to purchase a minimum of $20 in dinner the night of the show EXCLUDING DRINKS with your food server. Dinner reservations require you arrive no later than 1 hour after the doors open. To make a dinner reservation please call 949-496-8930.
