At age six, he made his first television debut on CKLW's The Bozo Show, winning prizes in a game. He Moved to New York City to pursue entertainment, initially working a seasonal job as a Macy's Santaland elf.  After watching his first stand-up show at New York's Comic Strip Live, he realized his calling. It took him three years to build up the courage to finally step onto the stage.
