The Broken Relics was born first as an idea to guitarist Zachary Warmouth in his early musical career, but it quickly became the moniker of his modern musical endeavor. Zach spent time searching for those who could properly fill the spots needed to bring The Broken Relics to life. It wasn't until three years and a few lineup changes later that Zach found himself writing music with his younger brother Bryce who at the time was attending college in Athens, Ohio. The brotherly duo spent much time in Columbus writing with their friend Brent Vaughan, laying the foundation for what would eventually become the band’s first full line-up. Shortly after, Zach's hometown friend and college roommate Alex Jakovina stepped in on bass. Zach “Potsie” Potkanowicz was recruited by Bryce and officially joined once he realized the aspirations of the other three were the same as his. The four began crafting their sound and was contacted by Nashville producer John Burke, leading to their decision to record their debut EP “With Reverence” in The Music City. Their local popularity was jumpstarted by their debut single and accompanying music video for “Don’t Look Back,” and they’ve been gaining traction ever since. After a few years, the music started to grow. With an expanding sound, Potsie  moved off the kit to play keyboard and guitar. This opened up the spot for Alex and Zach's longtime Columbus friend, David Walters, to step in on drums. Now a 5 piece, the band released their first full length album Night In The Desert  in November of 2022.
