Fresh off the pulse of Jazz Fest, the music carries on into the night at the Howlin’ Wolf with a bill rooted in deep groove and lived-in soul.

New Orleans vocalist Jenn Howard opens the evening with a special set, joined by select members of The Tanglers—a collaboration that brings together some of the city’s most intuitive players for a one-off performance shaped as much by feel as by form. Known for her commanding blend of blues grit, R&B warmth, and unguarded storytelling, Howard sets the tone with a voice that feels both timeless and unmistakably present.
