Emerging from their local scene in Spokane, Washington, The Bed Heads have become not only a scene staple, but an exemplary study in storytelling through song.  The band is comprised of vocalist and songwriter Landon Spencer, bassist Sam McQuarrie, AJ Ramirez on drums as well as Drew Brereton and Eric Kennedy on guitar. Together, the flower rockers take inspiration from the likes of folk powerhouses Bendigo Fletcher, Gregory Alan Isakov and Dr. Dog as well as influences from Roman history and classic novels to create a sound and songwriting style that can only be described as mystifying and completely distinct.  Having shared the stage with Spokane counterpart VIKA as well as Seattle folk rock peer Amelia Day, The Bed Heads’ live shows are full of soothing sonic balm and raw energy sure to stir the soul.

The Arizona-born, Nashville-based Danielle Durack’s music combines the pop sensibilities of childhood favorites like Sara Barellies with a modern wit that slots her right next to contemporaries like Boygenius and Hop Along. Beginning with debut album Bashful, Durack’s developed her own sound into something mature and emotionally complex, without skimping on the hooks and humor. Her third album, Escape Artist, arrived February 16th.
