Description
The Beanstalk Library's timeless songcraft, lush recordings and adventurous live performances have earned them a loyal following and critical accolades in their native Washington, DC. Their two full-length albums America At Night and The View From Here have been praised by, among others, The Washington Post, who called their music "timeless" and compared it to Big Star. The band proudly continued this tradition with the release of the 2016 EP Returns, and is currently writing and recording its third full-length album. In Summer 2019, The Beanstalk Library released a limited edition physical EP featuring two brand new tracks, and two remastered singles that had previously only been released digitally.
TBL has headlined stages at festivals including The Kingman Island Bluegrass & Folk Festival, the Del Ray Music Festival, and the Fete de la Musique at the French Embassy. From 2012 until its untimely closing in 2017 they hosted an annual New Year's Eve bash at the venerable IOTA Club & Cafe in Arlington, VA. They have since hosted this annual concert at The Evening Star in Alexandria, VA. In 2018 and 2019, the band performed at The Kennedy Center, The Hamilton, and Pearl Street Warehouse, among other notable venues.

"The Beanstalk Library's timeless songcraft and adventurous live performances have earned them a loyal following and critical accolades in their native Washington, DC. The band has performed at the Kennedy Center, the Hamilton and Pearl Street Warehouse, among many other notable venues and their single "Easier" was featured in the Relix magazine digital sampler. Their brand new single and accompanying music video, "Out From Under You," was released in June. Recommended if you like Tom Petty, Big Star, My Morning Jacket, etc."
