Mark your calendars. On May 19th, 20th and 21st, the annual Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo returns to the banks of Bayou St. John for its sixteenth year. New this year to the three-day neighborhood festival is a stage devoted exclusively to comedy programming. To celebrate the festival’s Sweet 16, organizers are selling a limited number of 3-day passes for just $16.00 starting on January 17. On January 24, the 3-day pass will increase to $25.00.
