San Francisco’s very own DJ Mikecool & DJ GA present the second annual B.A.D. Challenge, The Bay Area DJ Competition. challenges DJs to show off their skills and see if they are the best in the Bay!    In 2017, we had first place winner DJ Nate Rioz take the grand prize! Who will be the next winner this year? DJays will battle it out for $250 cash prize!   9 TOTAL DJS, BATTLING IT OUT! DJ Jehred DJ Naterioz (2017 winner) DJ Lox DJ Gibrawn DJ Bitesize DJ Rizzo DJ Don Don DJ D Snow DJ Ewock   Round 1: 5 minute open-format set.  Two best djs will then move up to round 2  Round 2: 2 minute open-format set.    Both rounds judged by DJ Ibarra, and 2 more judges tba.   The judging will be based on the following:  Technical Skill (What dj techniques you used to make your set flow and transition well, etc.) Creativity (Diverse song selection, use of dj tricks, etc.)  Originality (How unique is your set?) Stage presence (How interactive and engaging were you with your crowd?) Many know him as “The Most Versatile Millennial DJ” because of his ability to mix and cross multiple genres. His mission is to always embrace the art of dj culture. He has djayed at several nightclubs and bars throughout the Bay Area, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. He has djayed alongside many artists such as: Jermaine Dupri, G-Eazy, Lil Uzi Vert, YFN Lucci, Kap G, Lil Durk, Iamsu, Nipsey Hussle, RJ, and many more. In 2015, he won the regional Campus DJ dj Competition at for best college dj at San Francisco State University. Currently, he holds a weekly residency at Skylark in San Francisco and throws a monthly party called “Forum Fridays” at The End Up (SF) every 4th Friday of the month.
