Patrick Leary, Brendan Plesha, Ryan Renteria and James Karanasios took their knowledge and skills from many facets of the musical realm and created a rock band they wanted to hear more of in the world. Based in Boston, MA and officially formed in November of 2017, The Addition has performed in venues such as The Middle East Down Stairs and Thunder Road Rock Club. The band's raw, minimalist and post-grunge inspired sound has brought fans of Radiohead, Led Zepplin and Jimmy Eat World to revel in their live covers as well as originals.
In February of 2018, they released their first in a series of four singles: the experimental rock anthem, "Baluster." Followed by the rock heavy, "Reckoning" in July. They are currently mixing and mastering the final two songs of the series, and plan to release them in September and December of this year.
