songstress jo is a 21 year old singer-songwriter originally from Bellevue, Ohio. Gaining popularity with over 200k hits and 1.3 million views on TikTok, songstress jo writes and performs alternative gothic rock music alongside her four piece band (the familiar). As an artist in residence at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, songstress jo has worked with artist Kathy Valentine of The Go-Go's, Kid Sistr, MUNA, and many more. According to Jakk Breedon from takeoff music blog A1234, "...jo doesn't want you to just feel, she wants to leave behind a thought-provoking message that'll ruminate in your mind for years to come". And that is exactly what she aims to do.
