Three seasoned musicians from Texas with different backgrounds, influences, and a long history of touring came together to form Temptress. Kelsey Wilson (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Andi Cuba (Drums/Vocals), and Christian Wright (Bass/Vocals) all decided to get together in mid-January 2019, for a simple afternoon of rocking out with the intent for nothing more than keeping their skills sharpened. They weren’t planning to be a band. It just worked. In five months, these experienced players went from jamming for fun in a practice space to writing and recording some potent heavy songs. They immediately began performing them live as TEMPTRESS with the likes of Heavy Temple, Wo Fat, Hippie Death Cult, Ecstatic Vision, Black Tusk, and Royal Thunder. On June 7th, 2019, they presented their first three original songs in a debut EP release, ‘Temptress‘. The EP is available via Bandcamp and most music outlets for digital download and streaming In 2020, the band finished writing their first full-length album. During the months of 2021, Temptress has completed the recording of that album and is currently putting the final touches on the songs. The trio is expecting the new Temptress album sometime in 2022.

Dawn Fades is a five-piece post-metal band from Los Angeles, brought together by common vision and influences. In a world where aggressive music often overheats and palatable music often feels packaged, Dawn Fades presents an alternative, rife with emotional moments and unpredictable appeal backed by brute force. Formed in August 2016 under the fluorescent bulbs of gritty L.A. rehearsal rooms, the band quickly amassed an impressive collection of heavy, thoughtful material based on songs conceived by main songwriter Sam Sherwood (guitar and vocals) and realized with the input and experience of Markus Erren Pardiñas (bass), Scott Quist (drums), and Nate Hertweck (guitar). As the arrangements took form, the inventive sound covered ground from gorgeous to punishing, finding poignant and personal places to explore in between these extremes. What emerged has prompted comparisons to Deftones, Isis, Failure, and something just out of reach, familiar yet fresh, crushing yet calculated.
