Hailed by Pitchfork for their “loud, exhilarating and unhinged” live performances, NYC’s White Hills have garnered a cult reputation as a fierce, genre-bending band. The music made by core members Dave W. and Ego Sensation is risky and cutting edge, rooted in punk ethos and no-wave aesthetics. Their last album, Splintered Metal Sky, was hailed by The Quietus as the Best Psych Rock of 2020. The band will be releasing a new album in Fall 2022. White Hills appear as themselves in Jim Jarmusch’s vampire romance Only Lovers Left Alive.

Out of the ashes of long running NYC band Kreisor emerged MIRROR QUEEN. Under the Kreisor
moniker, the band put 2 US tours and 4 European expeditions behind them, including tinnitus-inducing
sojourns supporting UFO and Uli Jon Roth all over the Continent. Three albums were issued between
2001-2006.
A successful four week European tour in 2011 as part of the German based booking agency Sound of
Liberation’s “Up In Smoke” tour series brought them back to Europe, promoting the debut MQ album
“From Earth Below” and winning over fans from Berlin to Torino and many points between. This was
followed by their inclusion in the 2012 edition of "Brainbanger's Ball" tour. Next up was "Cosmic Sonic
Rendezvous", a package tour featuring Mirror Queen, The Atomic Bitchwax and Earthless. This kicked
off in Erfurt, DE at the Stoned From the Underground festival.
The follow-up album, “Scaffolds of the Sky”, complete with striking cover art by Italian art collective
Malleus, arrived concurrently with a far-ranging Northern European tour in 2015 as direct support to
Danava.
Original members Kenny Kreisor (guitars/vocals) and Jeremy O'Brien (drums) have been joined by
James Corallo (Zandelle) on bass/backing vocals and most recently, Morgan McDaniel on second guitar.
Morgan saw live action as part of a California run in summer of 2016, and a 2017 US tour with The
Atomic Bitchwax. He also contributed immediately and immensely “Verdigris”; two tracks bear his
songwriting signature, and his dynamite playing is all over the album.
2018 saw an EU run, a new single, and an appearance at the legendary Roadburn Festival in Tilburg,
NL.
Highlights of 2019 included a set at the inaugural Desertfest NYC, and another lengthy European tour
which kicked off at Desertfest Berlin, one of Europe’s best heavy rock festivals.
2022 brings the pandemic delayed new album "Inviolate"; many of the songs within have been
incorporated into the live set.
Together they transcend the sameness of much of today's stoner scene, blasting the audience by
including songs with the volume and adding hooks to the timeless riffs.
Influenced by such 70’s legends as Hawkwind, Deep Purple, UFO, Blue Öyster Cult, Captain Beyond,
the rockier sides of more recent outfits such as Motorpsycho and Swervedriver, as well as the best of the
current heavy bands, they aspire towards psychedelic hard rock of the highest order. -
