Produced by longtime Los Lobos member Steve Berlin, The Hang is a record about finding happiness in the modern world, both internally and externally. It's introspective one minute and community-minded the next, highlighting the soulful vocals and fiery fretwork of Scott — who launched his career alongside Otis Taylor, spending four years in the blues legend's band before going solo — as well as the deep-seated grooves, atmospheric keyboards, and road-tested chemistry of his band.
