Taulia Lave: Unplugged
Samoan country singer and Nashville recording artist Taulia Lave returns to his favorite stage for a night of new songs and stories, featuring unreleased material you won’t hear anywhere else.
“For the last decade, Blue Note Hawaiʻi has brought world-class music to Hawaiʻi in an intimate room where every note hits,” shares Taulia. “The first time I stepped on that stage, I felt it. On March 19, I’m back with new songs, my whole family in the room, and the stories behind everything I’ve been writing.”

Country
Taulia Lave grew up listening to Randy Travis, The Judds, Reba McIntyre, George Strait, and Garth Brooks on the coast of Waiʻanae, Oʻahu.
He is not your typical Country Singer. He’s a 47-year old, 6’2”, 280 pound Samoan who was a college football linebacker and former police officer. His late father - a man who deeply loved family, people and country music - serves as Taulia’s biggest inspiration.
Taulia has recorded with the best of the best in Nashville, placed songs on two of country music’s biggest Spotify and Apple Music playlists and sold out venues across Hawaiʻi.
Taulia’s smooth, bourbon-soaked voice and welcoming, straight-from-the-heart demeanor draw listeners and audiences in, quickly converting casual listeners and concertgoers into forever fans. It’s a sound and spirit clearly focused on what matters most - our connection to family and each other, and for Taulia, honoring his father’s life and lessons.
