The Texas-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist pairs straight shooting storytelling with country grit, rock ‘n’ roll energy, and Americana eloquence. As such, he channels a classic spirit from a personal perspective. Inspired by everyone from George Strait, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Rolling Stones to his favorite band Whiskey Myers, he wrote countless songs and cut his teeth at gigs anywhere with a stage. In November of 2023 Tanner released his debut album “Crossing Lines” featuring breakout
songs “Beautiful Lies” featuring Ella Langley and “Take Me Home” which you can catch in the new Taylor Sheridan series Landman on Paramount+. He is set to drop his sophomore record July 11, 2025. You may have caught Tanner Usrey on the road opening up for Koe Wetzel, Dierks Bentley, Cody Jinks, The Red Clay Strays, and Shane Smith & The Saints, or at major festivals Boston Calling, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Stagecoach, and Lollapalooza. In addition to supporting Cody Jinks on his Hippies and Cowboys tour in 2025, Tanner Usrey will be taking The Bad Love Tour to cities
across America.
