Trained in classical and jazz piano, her songwriting is a combination of her love of folk and the genres she has studied on keys. The music she plays and writes is often compared to Norah Jones, Randy Newman, Ashe and Regina Spektor. Tabitha can be found playing all around Nashville with her jazz/pop trio as well as the Pitch Meeting band.  She has performed with artists such as Lainey Wilson, Charles Kelley of Lady A, Lucie Silvas, Cassadee Pope, Chris Young, David Ryan Harris and more. She has had her music featured on Netflix series “Love is Blind” Season 4 and the “Ultimatum” Season 2.

Since forming in 2022, they’ve delighted audiences across the midwest with their riveting live shows, and dynamic performance videos that have racked up millions of views online. Their original song “Doubt Your Love” was featured in NPR’s Tiny Desk Top Shelf, and their dynamic live concerts have taken them across the United States, performing at the acclaimed Rudy’s Jazz Room in Nashville, Tennesee, the exclusive Claremont Hotel in Southwest Harbor, Maine, and the historic halls of the University of Pittsburgh. The band features a striking combination of instrumental mastery (on the piano, guitar, mandolin, dobro, accordion and cello) and equally stunning vocal harmonies. Each member of Young Original is a stunning performer in their own right: Benjamin Morren is a firebrand pianist and composer who plays too many instruments to count; the prodigious Silas Johnson started cello lessons at age 3, and has performed with The Johnson Strings to sold out crowds in Branson and abroad. Joe Xiques is an inventive music producer and creative director who has travelled the world playing bluegrass music on a plethora of instruments.  The unique fusion of jazz, classical, folk, and pop influences has made this group an absolute must-see for all music lovers.
