Back in 1995 Spawned from the dusty vinyl vault of Techno Retro records through the discopium philopium tube of consciousness, a seed flowed from one generation to the next and on a hot Donna Summers day a funk was formed and evolved in a Boogie Oogie wombtil the tune was right there. Under a Saturday Night Feverishly full moon, Sweet Pollyester & the Platforms were born. Julie Harris (Oreo Divaz & The Platters), Jara Harris (Slapbak), Alex Mackey (Flock of 80s), Damian Brawner (Brawner Surfboards, Rhythm & Resin Fest). This all star cast are the original members reuniting for the first time in almost 3 decades.
