Suzanne Slair started singing and songwriting professionally at the age of 6 in Calgary, Canada. This early start led to singing at the opening ceremony of the Olympics as a child
and she was hooked! From there she went on to a musical conservancy program in NYC that led to composing and recording musical score for Off-Broadway shows.
But the rock clubs on the Lower East Side of Manhattan called and she answered. Playing CBGBs and Acme Underground cut her rock and roll teeth. In 2012 the SUZANNE SLAIR SIGNATURE BLAZING V GUITAR was released at NAMM. After moving to Austin, TX to hone her songwriting skill in 2016, Slair won a John Lennon Songwriting Award for her song "Grace" which appears on her latest release, 2017's "Nowhere Road," produced by Grammy-winner John Keane.
Slair now calls West Hollywood home, where she lives with her wife, daughter and many animals.
