The Crocodile Presents:
Super Nice Guys
-
Super Nice Guys is an international reggae supergroup led by reedsmith Izaak Mills and guitarist Mark Oi. The band’s members first connected while playing in reggae legend Clinton Fearon’s Boogie Brown Band. Despite living in different cities—Mills in New York and Oi in San Francisco—they began collaborating remotely in 2018, trading lo-fi instrumental demos that laid the foundation for their sound.
In 2020, the group united from Seattle, New York, San Francisco, and Berlin, recording their debut album at trumpeter Ahamefule J. Oluo's remote studio in the woods of Hood Canal, Washington. The result? A self-titled LP released on Oak Head Records, blending jazz-infused roots reggae and deep dub grooves into a hypnotic, genre-defying sound.
With catchy melodies, unstoppable grooves, heavy-hitting drums, and virtuosic musicianship, Super Nice Guys is a band that transcends boundaries. Don't miss this rare chance to catch them live!
