The Tennessee Warblers
Bluegrass
A true Nashville institution, The Tennessee Warblers have been weaving their unique blend of jamgrass with a rich emphasis on folksy harmony and heartfelt songwriting throughout Music City since 2014. What began as a vibrant part of Nashville's thriving bluegrass and jam community has blossomed into a beloved act, known for their captivating live performances and infectious grooves.
The core of The Tennessee Warblers is a dynamic trio: John Beck on vocals and mandolin, Adam Dalton on vocals and guitar, and Luke Sands on vocals and upright bass. Their synergy creates a sound that is both loose and disciplined, a rare magic that keeps audiences enchanted. As Bryce Harmon of the Murfreesboro Pulse perfectly puts it, "The Warblers flirt between being loose and disciplined, which is difficult to do and remain bluegrass."
The band's journey has seen them support their critically acclaimed new record, Small Town Songs (released November 2022), with a successful "Small Towns Tour" across the region. This album, which Ana Lee of WMOT Roots Radio 89.5FM called "Great musicians with a good sense of humor & great songs" has further solidified their place in the Nashville music scene. Edd Hurt of the Nashville Scene also lauded the album, writing, "Small Town Songs makes me happy to know the Nashville bluegrass-Dead community is thriving."
The Tennessee Warblers' impressive resume includes a performance on WMOT's "Finally Friday," sold-out crowds at the legendary Station Inn, and appearances at prestigious venues such as the Bluegrass Hall of Fame in Owensboro, KY, and Nashville's own 3rd and Lindsley. Their commitment to their craft and their audience is evident in every show.
