The Bluebird Cafe’s Sunday Spotlight is a weekly showcase for up-and-coming bands, offering a one-hour performance focused on individual acts rather than the traditional in-the-round format.
There are 18 tables, 8 bar seats and 8 church pew seats available for reservation. The remaining pew seats for this show are not reserved in advance. These seats are available on a first come/first served basis when doors open.
Ticket reservations at The Bluebird Cafe are an agreement to pay the cover charge and applicable taxes/fees and to meet the $15.00 per seat food and/or drink minimum. There is a 6 seat maximum per ticket order.
Ticket holders may cancel their reservation for a full refund of the ticket price and applicable tax (excluding ticketing fees) if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled showtime. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the show are non-refundable. To cancel, please email info@bluebirdcafe.com or call 615-383-1461. Phone line hours are Monday-Friday, 12-4 pm.

Becky Shaw
Americana
Becky Shaw is a musician who has spent a lifetime refusing to be pinned down. Armed with guitar, harmonica, drums, flute, accordion, lap steel, and more, she’s built a career on curiosity and craft and has been a long-time member of Atlanta’s vibrant music scene for 30 years. These days, she's diving into jazz standards with pianist Allen Broyles, still fronting the 70s cover powerhouse Susi French Connection (a gig she's held since 2000), and just finished out an 18-year run with Atlanta Americana band Roxie Watson/Just Roxie. But it's her solo singer-songwriter work—intimate, powerful, and achingly honest—that's now taking center stage. Over the past 30 years, Becky has shared stages with Indigo Girls, Suzy Bogguss, Caroline Herring, Michelle Malone, and Shawn Mullins. She was also a cast member in “Jesus Christ Superstar: A Resurrection,” featuring Amy Ray & Emily Saliers. She has performed at legendary venues including The Bluebird Café in Nashville, New York’s CBGB’s and the Bitter End, Eddie’s Attic, and The National in Richmond.
As a seasoned artist, Becky engages her audiences with wisdom and restraint. Her songs are happy and sad, lush and sparse, coalescing around her soulful voice and reflecting her gifts as a poet, wordsmith, and vocalist. Whether commanding a storied stage or a living room house concert, Shaw brings a simple but profound motto to every performance: “Be the Song.”
