Going strong for 30 years, Suicide Commando have not only been pioneers of the harder Electro genre, but continue being innovators up to this very day.

Formed in summer 1986 by Johan van Roy, the band made a name for itself through a series of self-released tapes from the late Eighties to the early Nineties. When the group released its first full-length CD "Critical Stage" in 1994, it soon would evolve into one of the most popular and important acts of the scene.

On this and all of the subsequent releases, Van Roy explores the dark side of humanity with lashing beats, haunting atmospheric electronics and an addictively psychotic and relentlessly aggressive vocal style. With eternal club hits, such as the seminal "See You In Hell" or "Hellraiser" and an impressive roster of successful album releases, from the classics "Mindstrip", "Axis Of Evil", "Bind, Torture, Kill" and "Implements Of Hell" to the apocalyptic 2013-masterpiece "When Evil Speaks", Suicide Commando continue to be genre-defining while always evolving their very own trademark sound of synthetically-induced mayhem.

They are a regular guest at the biggest scene-related festivals around the world and are renowned for their energetic stage performance. With an ever-growing rabid fan base at their back, Suicide Commando are one of the most popular live acts of the entire scene.

The band is currently working on the next album and, judging from the sold-out advance single "The Pain That You Like", it will be nothing short of another Hard-Electro-milestone.

We are nolongerhuman, and this is only the beginning…

nolongerhuman is the sole project of Clint Robertson.

Starting in 2000, with a project called Varix, which focused on heavy electronics and Noise infused beats, Clint was quickly noticed and included in several compilations.

2004, furthering the nolongerhuman concept, several demo only recordings were released, and the development of what would become nolongerhuman’s signature sound began emerging.

2006 saw the first compilation release, a track titled Transcend Humanity on BLC Records Interbreeding IX: Kuru. It generated a great amount of interest, even without vocals, and again, showed a remarkable growth from earlier work, in addition to catching the interest of several promoters and DJ’s all along the West Coast.

2007, nolongerhuman continued to work on new music, seeing the release of 13 tracks, all creating a growing fan base both locally, nationally, and internationally. The first live shows began to be discussed. In May, the first nolongerhuman show, with two other local bands in Portland took place, to a stunned audience. Immediately after getting off stage he was approached for 4 more shows. Each subsequent show, opening for bands like Haujobb, and Gothminister, and God Module, earned more fans, and more supporters of the music. The demand for a longer live set quickly developed, which led to the first nolongerhuman headline show.

2009 saw the release of the debut album “Antipathy” on COP International Records. Released to nearly universal positive reviews “Antipathy” became a must have. Genre bending harsh electronics with a sense of emotion rarely seen in. Focused, determined, with a message to carry. Touring for “Antipathy” began in late 2009 and continued through 2010, supporting acts like both Nachtmahr and Funker Vogt.

2012, nolongerhuman releases “Depersonalization” on COP international. Focusing on the inhumanity in everyday life. The music is a direct response to everyday atrocity, the lyrics are both political, personal, and sociological. Heavy, distorted beats, screamed vocals, and incredibly aggressive keyboards come together with the use of found samples and movie samples as well as real emotion, nolongerhuman is as much a diary as it is an experience. All combining to form one of the most punishing, thought provoking acts available.

2014 now brings the third album, “Withdrawal.” A great mixture of hard hitting beats, catchy keyboard riffs and a haunting sense of ambience drenched with foreboding swirls of doom. Heavy use of vocal samples put “Withdrawal’ in a historical context, harking back to early 90s industrial. A deeply personal album, a journey to find oneself, yet it never shies away to take a stand, to be honest, to be truthful.

Currently, the fourth album, Marionette, is in progress. ‘Marionette’ is a reflection of individuals in the world and their place in society. This album’s mission is to engage the audience with classic industrial and electronic music while incorporating a theatrical theme composed to represent the lifespan of an individual.

“I only plan on moving forward from here, or I will die trying.”
