Originally formed in 2010 by Ali Culotta and Danny Portilla, Stop The Presses has come a long way since their early days in Miami. The band delivers an incredible mix of traditional ska & reggae with pop hooks – new wave style and punk rock attitude with a splash of British 2-Tone. 
 In 2019, they released “Money in the Bank”, produced by Agent Jay and featuring Dave Hillyard of The Slackers. This album quickly put the band on the international map with its retro 80s sensibility and modern edge that won over ska fans of all types! Lockdown 2020 brought multiple high-profile live streams, collaborative videos, and their “Dub in the Bank” 7-inch release. In 2021, Stop the Presses hit the ground running with an east coast tour, a stand-out performance at Supernova Ska Festival and the contribution of their single “Make the Best of It” for the Jump Up / Supernova Alpha Boys School benefit double album “SKA CARES”. 
 In 2022 the band recorded their second full-length “Got It” right before heading out on an extensive US tour including an official SXSW showcase and a return performance at Supernova. This new album was entirely recorded in Brooklyn, mixed once again by AGENT JAY at STABBY ROAD. Eight tracks that prove how exciting and diverse a modern traditional ska band can be! Includes a fantastic cover of Bikini Kill’s “Rebel Girl”! As Agent Jay describes them: “A live natural feel, but a big sound with detailed arrangements.”

Tone Zone Skam was formed in 2010 seeking to have the Mexican Ska rhythm and style. From Chicago to the the world, TZS seeks that the people identify themselves with the band making them forget their problems for a while, TZS, through their songs, also fights for equality, unity, & brother/sisterhood, Wherever you are TZS will make you dance “Ska Without Compassion.” Tone Zone Skam se formó en el 2010 buscando tener el ritmo y estilo del Ska Mexicano. Desde Chicago para el mundo, TZS busca que la gente se identifique con la banda y hacerlos olvidar sus problemas por un rato. TZS, a través de sus canciones, tambien pelea por la igualdad, unidad, y hermandad. Donde quiera que estes TZS te pondrá a bailar “Ska Sin Compasión.”

DJ Chuck Wren has hosted the ska radio show “Everything Off-Beat” across the Chicago dial since 1989, currently airing Wednesdays at 9 PM on WNUR-FM 89.3. Since 1993, his label JUMP UP RECORDS (www.jumpuprecords.com ) has released 200+ albums including local faves The Operators, The Crombies, Deal’s Gone Bad, The Drastics, and Green Room Rockers plus legacy US acts The Toasters, The Pietasters, Chris Murray, Mephiskapheles, New York Ska Jazz Ensemble, and top international bands Lollypop Lorry, Dr Ring Ding, The Magnetics, Out of Control Army and Los Fastidios.  "Ska night with DJ Chuck Wren" (last Thursday of the month) has been a institution at Delilah's for 31 years. It is Chicago's longest running ska/reggae night and has been all-vinyl since day one.
