    Stone Pages

    Classic Rock

The Stone Pages were formed in mid-2016.  We had a desire to renew the spirit of Rock and Roll based on the iconic bands of the 60s and 70s.  It’s classic rock – in the best sense – based on Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Clapton, Hendrix, and so many more, infused with funk and R&B, and laid back when it needs to be.  Frampton, Joe Walsh, the Grateful Dead, Talking Heads.  If it rocks, we play it.

Chris and Mark have been playing guitar forever.   Chris is an avid guitar collector who’s personal collection includes several ’58 and ’59 Les Paul’s and other rare Gibsons.

Mark’s claim to fame is he knows — and can play — just about every minute of every tune from the Grateful Dead’s seminal 4-day run at the Filmore in 1969.

Together with a drummer, bassist and keyboards, they pay homage to yesterday’s hero’s in a fresh and entertaining way.
