Pianist Liam Speaks, saxophonist Alex Lati-Thiam, guitarist Ayden Cohen and Stix all met through the Tri-C Jazzfest Academy program, an experience bringing amazing opportunities like insight from legends such as Christian McBride and Terence Blanchard. All brought together by Everett “Guitarslim” Clark’s adventurous basslines, the Stix Quintet is a fresh, groove-oriented take on jazz and funk.
