THE STEVE DAVIS QUINTET FEATURING:

Born in Worcester, MA in 1967, Davis was raised in Binghamton, NY and graduated in 1989 from  Hartt School’s Jackie McLean Institute. It was with McLean’s guidance and recommendation that Davis landed his first major performance with Art Blakey in NYC. In 98’ Steve winning the TDWR (Rising Star) Trombone Category and later named consecutively as Trombonist of the Year by The JJA – (2010-2013). Widely regarded as one of today’s leading voices on the trombone. His lyrical, hard-swinging style first gained him broad recognition. Steve has released 21 albums including: Think Ahead (2017), Say When (2015), For Real & Gettin’ It Done (2014), in addition to over 100 recordings with names including: Chick Corea, Freddie Hubbard, Horace Silver, Cedar Walton, Hank Jones. In 2018 his original composition “Optimism” was included in Christian McBride’s Grammy Award winning album “Bringin’ it”.

Steve's most recent release, "Bluesthetic," is his 4th recording for Smoke Sessions Records.

All GA sections (Main Floor GA & Miles Davis Mezzanine) will be seated by host and are first come, first served (other than where a reserved sign is posted to table).  If you require special seating, please call the venue for accommodations no later than 48 hours prior to show date.

Please note:  If you do not purchase all seats at a table, other customers may be seated with you.

*If you purchase dinner and show packages, dinner is two hours prior to showtime in the Boathouse 400 restaurant, located on the second floor of the hotel.  Dinner and show packages include a 3 course dinner, one complimentary glass of house red or white wine or non-alcoholic beverage, all state and local taxes, 18% gratuity and complimentary parking in the hotel garage while enjoying dinner and show.

By purchasing tickets and agreeing to terms, you understand and agree that in order for us to grant a ticket or entrance to the club to you, or anyone in your party, you and each person in your group must be fully vaccinated and abide by the following terms:
As of our opening date of October 1st, 2021, Scullers Jazz Club Boston will require proof of vaccination from all customers who enter the venue. Proof of full vaccination may include a physical card or digital photo of the card from the CDC. Children under 12, who cannot be vaccinated, must wear masks.

Along with their tickets and vaccination card, attendees must bring a valid photo ID such as drivers license, Federal ID or passport.

Fully Vaccinated means your first visit to the club is at least 2 weeks after your final dose.

Alternatively, you must show proof of a negative Covid test within 48hrs of the show day you plan to attend. We do not provide any testing on our property and it is your sole responsibility to obtain and pay for a test within 48 hrs of the show you plan to attend.

In addition to the vaccination policy, Scullers continues to encourage masks for all indoor gatherings, except while you are actively eating and drinking

We thank you for supporting Scullers while we work hard to follow the most up-to-date guidelines and safety measures to keep our customers as safe as possible.

All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Show tickets will be at the door starting at 6:30pm for the 8pm show and 9:45pm for the 10pm show.

Dinner and show package customers will receive their tickets while dining in the Boathouse 400 restaurant which is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel.

Dinner for the 8pm show is at 6pm and dinner for the 10pm show is at 8pm. All dinner/show packages are served in the Boathouse 400 restaurant.

**All Dinner and Show Package prices do not reflect applicable taxes, gratuity or beverage. For your convenience an 18% server gratuity and 7.00% state & local tax will be added to your check and a $65 credit will be applied toward restaurant charges. Packages and tickets are non-refundable.
