Description
Stephen Walker is a New Orleans–based trombonist, composer, and bandleader known for his dynamic versatility and deep roots in the city’s musical traditions. A product of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, Walker began performing at a young age and toured internationally as a teenager with Irvin Mayfield. Mentored by Delfeayo Marsalis, he has gone on to perform and record with artists including Harry Connick Jr., Branford Marsalis, Nicholas Payton, Trombone Shorty, and Kermit Ruffins. Blending gospel roots with jazz, funk, and contemporary styles, Walker has developed a distinctive voice on the trombone and continues to perform locally and internationally, bringing the spirit of New Orleans to audiences worldwide.  Tonight's he presents the release of his latest project, Swing in New Orleans: The Trad Jazz Sessions Vol. 1.  Performing artists include: Stephen Walker - trombone Felix Allen - drums Leon Brown - trumpet Jérémie Henan - piano  Dr. Chisoo Kim Walker - bass   Shows at 7:30pm & 9:30pm  Doors at 7:00pm & 9:00pm  Restuarant is Open 5pm - 10pm for dinner before or after your showtime: Advance Ticket Holders can now automatically make dinner table reservations for the Dining Room online via OpenTable.com ! Advance Ticket-Holders can also make table reservations for dinner in the restaurant next door by Emailing reservations@snugjazz.com after your tickets have been purchased online for the Music Room. Dinner Service without Advance Concert Tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival. Full Bar is Open 5pm - Midnight for all, on show nights, with or without tickets. Kind Reminder:  Snug Harbor does NOT serve the full menu inside the Music Room. We do offer cheese and charcuterie tray options. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.  Due to our intimate venue's limited seating capacity, advance tickets are strongly suggested in order to guarantee seats for this acclaimed show!

ALL CONCERT TICKET SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. However, we do offer ticket transfers from one name to another, provided you email us your e-ticket confirmation and the name(s) you would like your ticket(s) transferred to via shows@snugjazz.com before 5pm on day of show, or sooner. You can also choose to gift your ticket(s) to our New Orleans Music Student Program where un-claimed tickets are offered to young music students and/or rising musician apprentices, if you cannot use your ticket(s). We can also transfer tickets from one show TIME to another on the SAME DATE ONLY, *provided space is available* at the time of your request. You must email shows@snugjazz.com before 5pm on day of show with your request. Tickets are NOT transferrable to a different artist/date.
