Description
From gospel roots in a New Orleans church to international stages, Stephen Walker's journey with music began at age 5. Introduced to instruments by his father, Bishop Lawrence Walker Sr., Stephen explored piano, clarinet, and trumpet before embracing the trombone at age 12. Quickly rising as a prodigious talent, he studied at the renowned New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA). By 16, Stephen began his first international tour in Greece alongside GRAMMY Award winning trumpeter, Irvin Mayfield.  Mentored by GRAMMY-winning producer and trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis, Stephen has collaborated with luminaries like Harry Connick Jr, Brandford Marsalis, Doreen Ketchens, Trombone Shorty, Nicholas Payton, Kermit Ruffins, Davell Crawford, Deacon John, Shannon Powell, James Andrews, Herlin Riley, Bob French, Leon "Kid Chocolate" Brown, Calvin Johnson, Leroy Jones, Shamarr Allen, and many more. He is currently touring with the legendary Dirty Dozen Brass Band.  Stephen's diverse repertoire, rooted in gospel and branching into jazz, funk, Latin, and contemporary styles, showcases his versatile musicianship. Tonight, he presents his contemporary New Orleans collective, Stephen Walker n' Em, featuring:  Stephen Walker - trombone  Leon "Kid Chocolate" Brown - trumpet  Trevarri Huff-Boone - saxophones  Paul Longstreth - piano  Jason Stewart - bass  Trenton O'Neal - drums  + Marcella Ratcliff - vocals  Shows at 7:30pm & 9:30pm  Doors at 7:00pm & 9:00pm  Restaurant is Open 5pm - 10pm for dinner before or after your showtime: Advance Ticket Holders can now automatically make dinner table reservations for the Dining Room online via OpenTable.com !  Advance Ticket-Holders can also make table reservations for dinner by forwarding your E-ticket confirmation with dinner request info to reservations@snugjazz.com after your tickets have been purchased online. Dinner Service without Advance Concert Tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival. Kind Reminder:  Snug Harbor does NOT serve food inside the Music Room. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.

Refund Policy
ALL CONCERT TICKET SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. However, we do offer ticket transfers from one name to another, provided you email us your e-ticket confirmation and the name(s) you would like your ticket(s) transferred to via shows@snugjazz.com before 5pm on day of show, or sooner. You can also choose to gift your ticket(s) to our New Orleans Music Student Program where un-claimed tickets are offered to young music students and/or rising musician apprentices, if you cannot use your ticket(s). We can also transfer tickets from one show TIME to another on the SAME DATE ONLY, *provided space is available* at the time of your request. You must email shows@snugjazz.com before 5pm on day of show with your request. Tickets are NOT transferrable to a different artist/date.
