Chasing Vices
Chasing Vices
Alternative Rock
Chasing Vices is an alternative rock band from Chicago. Built around loud guitars, raw emotion, and a little bit of chaos. The band blends the energy of punk with the hooks and honesty of modern alternative rock, creating music that doesn’t shy away from the messy parts of life.
Originally known as Michelle Sanchez, the project has evolved with a new lineup while staying true to the sound and attitude that started it all. Chasing Vices represents the next chapter: new faces, new energy, and more music to come, without losing what made the band who they are.
At its core, Chasing Vices is about the things we chase, the mistakes we make, and the moments that make us who we are.
Same attitude. Same energy. Just a new name.

Highbrow entertainment for lowbrow people.
Imagine Judas Priest or The Ramones with a horn section and a female soul singer. Yeah, it’s totally that good. Hailing from Chicago, Drewblood & His Heathenly Ways are the Punk/Metal/Soul Revue you didn’t know you needed in your life.
Nearly fifteen years ago, Drewblood was playing a gig at the 12 Bar Club in London. The band was doing a blistering version of “Do Anything You Wanna Do” by Eddie & The Hot Rods. It occurred to him in the midst of the excitement that the artist may have been considered punk, but the material itself was all rooted in soul. Punk and soul, it turns out, have far more in common than anyone gives them credit for. Strip away the image and both are ultimately about the same thing — expressing an emotion while making people feel something. The only real difference is which emotion. This idea manifested in his mind for years before finally emerging as the band we have today.
Drewblood & His Heathenly Ways draws its setlist from the canon that would be loved by anyone attending Riot Fest, Wacken, or anything in-between – punk, classic metal, vintage soul, and a few oddballs thrown in for good measure. The material is rearranged and delivered with the style and panache of a 1960s soul revue à la Sam & Dave. Picture the Rolling Stones performing “Dancing On My Own” by Robyn, while Aretha Franklin sings. Or Darlene Love owning “Big City Nights” by Scorpions as the horn section hits every accent. And who doesn’t love a powerhouse version of The Shirelles’ “Baby It’s You” delivered with so much depth you’ll feel it in your gut. This is no casual night out.
The band made its live debut in August, 2026. That first show already earned a run of bookings through January, 2027, with more on the way.
While this is a new act, the players aren’t. They’ve paid their dues. In recent years, the collective members have supported everyone from Nik Turner’s Hawkwind to Night Ranger, toured with Dellacoma Rio from Australia and ’90s alt-rockers Jesus Jones, and been on the bills at the Montreal Jazz Fest, SXSW, and Riot Fest. They’ve played Lincoln Center and the White House (yes, the White House) — and logged more time on the road than any of them can remember. Onstage, that experience shows: a tight, no-nonsense set built to bring people back again and again.

The mission from here: take this act across the globe, and give people a reason to get their fancy on for the Punk/Metal/Soul Revue they never knew they needed — highbrow entertainment, delivered exactly as promised.
