Folk
Virginia Beach-born and Nashville-based artist, songwriter, and producer Steinza crafts music that blends the confessional elements of folk, indie, and alt-pop. His sound is defined by personal lyrics, warm vocals, and dynamic production, combining intimate storytelling with modern, expansive arrangements.
Growing up as the youngest of four in a musical household, Steinza was first inspired by his father’s drumming and his sister’s guitar playing. After teaching himself guitar and production, he moved from Virginia to Nashville to further develop his sound and find his own voice as an artist.
Since releasing his debut single “Cherokee” in 2018, Steinza has steadily built a dedicated audience and millions of streams. He’s collaborated with artists like Matt Maeson, Paris Jackson, and Sophie Holohan, and his influences range from Noah Kahan and Dominic Fike to Bon Iver and more.
On stage, Steinza has opened for acts including Shaboozey, Saint Motel, Matt Maeson, Mat Kearney, Joe P, Sam Nelson of X Ambassadors, Zach Seabaugh, and beyond. His live shows balance raw emotion with energy, creating a personal connection with his audience. As his career grows, Steinza continues to focus on writing honest, emotionally driven music and carving out his own space in the folk and indie landscape.
