In 2004 Wisteria was formed by some of Detroit’s most devoted musicians. They combined their drive and talent to form a band that is committed to performing and writing the best music, and Wisteria was born. These veteran musicians Teri Wallace, Chris Wallace, Terry Cook, David Baker, Adam Bedikian, and Jon Howard have created an irresistible blend of power and finesse with their instrumental and vocal talents.
Wisteria was one of the winners in the 2017 Rockin Wars Contest for WCSX in which we had the pleasure to be the opening act for the amazing Everclear. Wisteria has also had the privilege of sharing the stage with Candlebox, The Detroit Cobras, The Guess Who, and Detroit’s own Mitch Ryder!
Our music draws on rock, pop, Motown, pop, and country influences to create a sound that is uniquely ours! Female fronted and vocal oriented, we have six lead singers. Wisteria delivers punchy music as well as both faithful and unique interpretations of your favorite songs. Come and experience a Wisteria show!

Traditional Irish Folk
Ironwood Band
Ironwood Band
Traditional Irish Folk
Ironwood band is a husband & wife, acoustic duo, from Holly MI. Ironwood is heavily inspired by Celtic and American folk music. Anna sings, and plays fiddle & mandolin, while Mark rocks the acoustic guitar, and electric bass. Together they perform original songs as well as traditional Irish and folk. Their recorded songs and live performances are full of energy.

Celtic Folk
Gerard Smith
Gerard Smith
Celtic Folk
Exploring the vast world of music and experimenting with combinations of styles is the ethos that drives Detroit songwriter/musician Gerard Smith. Smith creates a travelogue of sound that combines Celtic influences, Jazz, Folk and Rock elements for an eclectic listening experience.
The Detroit native grew up in the Irish enclave of Emmett in the thumb of Michigan. He honed his musical skills in a variety of musical groups over the past thirty years in many genres including Jazz and Rock and Roll. A proficient multi-instrumentalist, Gerard not only plays both electric and acoustic guitar but also the mandolin, bouzouki, bodhran, tin whistle and concertina.
An ardent fan of Celtic folk music, Gerard slowly built up his repertoire of these traditional Irish and Scottish ballads and tunes. He has since been playing extensively around Michigan as a solo act and with different groups, such as the traditional Irish trio,The Bowzies, to the non-traditional Celtic and progressive rock-influenced band, Bill Grogan’s Goat.
His first album, “Wind That Shakes the Barley,” is a musical collaboration with fellow Irish troubadours Terry Murphy and Colin Paige. He released his debut solo album entitled “Hamtramck:Heaven” as an ode to the Detroit enclave. The album included a mix of music, encompassing traditional and original songs, utilizing both electric and acoustic instruments. Len Wallace’s review in The Irish Connection magazine had this to say about the album:
“The man has a message and isn’t afraid to tell it….What makes the album unique is how Gerard has wedded the acoustic folk tradition with ‘metal’ instrumental. ‘Hamtramck Heaven’ is more in the style of the late Sixties and early Seventies folk-rock adventures.”
Gerard Smith continues his exploration into the wealth of Celtic folk music and modernizes these songs with his unique performance style. His second solo effort, “Idylls of the Kings of the Road.” features an eclectic mix of acoustic and electric original songs, as well as retooled Celtic folk. His influences range from traditional Irish folk music to The Beatles to King Crimson. Gerard hopes that you enjoy this work as much as he enjoyed making it.

Celtic Rock
Shawn Riley Band
Shawn Riley Band
Celtic Rock
Shawn Riley began his professional music career in 1979 as a solo artist. For decades, he performed his high-energy act at top clubs throughout Michigan. His creativity in performance opened up many opportunities including several post-Yacht Race parties on Mackinac Island, weddings across the country, corporate events, and many other private engagements.
Throughout the early years, Shawn would share the stage with many performers and put together a band when necessary. In 1997, the call for a band became a regular occurrence and the journey began.
The key to this band is the musicians. Russell Klausing brings decades of experience both as a bassist and since 1997 as the Rhythm Guitarist. Russell has a very keen sense of finding the right fills and tasty leads. Russell has played with many of Detroit's greats.
Jim Cracraft joined the band back in 1998 as the bassist. The consummate showman, Jim's passion and unbridled energy, along with his live performance prowess make him a vital cog in this band. Jim has toured with Mitch Ryder, Alexis, Rude Agnes and Four Toed Willy.
Mike Murphy joined the band in 2012. This triple threat delivers with an impeccable styling on drums, an amazing vocal range, and an inspiring sense of humor. This cat has played with so many of Detroit's best, too numerous to mention. Most recently, and for many years, Mike was the leader of the Cassens-Murphy Band, one of Detroit's premier wedding and corporate event acts. Mike's history also includes years of performance on Mackinac Island.
The latest addition to the band is southern California transplant Jeremy Lingenfelter. Jeremy's flawless, powerful lead guitar skills, coupled with a very powerful vocal style have opened up a whole new genre of musical selections for the SRB to tackle. Adding a SoCal feel to the mix.
The Shawn Riley Band is a classic rock and Celtic ensemble.
